We provide your child with the ability to express themselves with clarity, confidence and courtesy.
At Purple Yogis, we believe that children are great learners. Children are born with an incredible eagerness and ability to learn. Each child learns in a unique way and has unique ways to interact with the learning process. At Purple Yogis, we help each child discover his/her uniqueness and we nurture it. Purple Yogis is an allergy friendly, cosy and wonderful learning place where children discover the world of knowledge through experience.
Your child will learn modules which include vocal development, drama, reading aloud, poetry speaking, public speaking, impromptu talks, improvisation and literature appreciation. These are very valuable skills to give them confidence in speaking for their future personal, social and career paths.
The programme aims to:
- Promote the creation, performance and appreciation of speech, drama and theatre amongst the younger generation;
- Promote personal growth with special emphasis on cognitive, social and communication skills by developing internal and external personal resources and modes of critical thinking;
- Promote a deeper understanding and acceptance of the similarities and differences amongst people through a multi-cultural approach;
- Promote an understanding of the educational potential of speech and drama through fun and games.
* Per term (10 lessons)/ up to 4 terms a year.
- Each child is awarded a Certificate of completion after each term.
- Each child is entitled to take part in the end of the year Artistic Programme (Performing arts concert organized by the school)
