Purple Yogis Sdn Bhd was founded in March 2009 with the intention of promoting and broadening the yoga knowledge amongst the young and old in the neighbourhood community of Bangsar and beyond. PURPLE YOGIS aim is to improve peoples’ lifestyles and to promote healthy living with a balance appreciation of nature.
The mission of PURPLE YOGIS is to give every child, parent, adult or student a place where they can retreat and just Be! An urban retreat centre where everyone can feel peace and harmony. This will be a home away from home. No matter what they learn or from who they learn the real and only teacher is within.
The instructors who teach at PURPLE YOGIS are well trained and fully certified professional instructors, using progressive teaching methods, in a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere.
At the moment we are focusing on many facets of yoga and dance teaching but our fundamental focus is on parents and children. Kids are taught on how they can embark on a blissful journey of empowerment, self-confidence, love, truth and respect.
Besides having all the different types of classes (yoga, dance, speech & drama etc) for adults and kids, PURPLE YOGIS also caters for events like Birthdays, Corporate and Private functions. It also has a boutique that will sell workshop clothing and yoga training aides. The PURPLE JUICE BAR will also service customers and clients who wish to have a refreshing yogic healthy juice/ smoothie or if they want to grab a healthy snack from the bar.
