Yoga

Shobie Malani

She studied under the guidance of Master Mani Sekaran of the Malaysian Yoga Society and is now a recognised and certified Kids Yoga Instructor. Her love for bringing out the creativity in kids and her previous experience as a teacher is what makes PURPLE YOGIS a centre with a difference.

Not only are her teaching methods fun and lively, they create a sense of belonging with her students. There is no class that ends without laughing! Shobie’s methods are unorthodox but definitely a class not to be missed.

Krishnavieni

Krishnavieni has been an instructor with the Malaysian Yoga Society since 2007 and has established herself as one of the most sought after teachers.  She has mastered the area of Ayurveda Body Work and Self Mastery and able to command huge admiration from many of the course attendants with her practical ways.

She is also excellent with children and able to engage with them, performing lively and
interesting yoga for children.  Her enthusiasm for life and her love for the art of yoga has escalated her to be one of the leading teachers in the society.

Dominika Florek

She was born in Poland. She earned her Diploma in Yoga Education from a remote ashram in India, known as the Yoga Vidya Gurukul - Yoga University in Nashik.

She spent a month living in this holy place learning various forms of yoga, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Karma, and Swara Yoga from great Yoga masters. She  was also taught 5,000 year old techniques for health and vitality, including Pranayama breathing techniques and Shatkarma cleansing techniques.

Rajini Krishnan

She embarked on yoga teaching to further enhance her knowledge in yoga and to fulfill her ambition one education people on health and fitness. Through experience, she realised that the most important skill a yoga instructor must have is to know the capabilities of each student and be able to tailor the class accordingly. Being mindful and sensitive towards the needs and limitations of each individual, Rajini is therefore able to cater her classes for students of different levels.

Personally, regular practice of yoga has resulted in a physically stronger and toned body for Rajini. She believes yoga not just stretches and tones the muscles but also increases the stamina and promotes cardiovascular health.  Just recently she managed to conquer and the only training she had was yoga practice 4 times a week and a slow walk around the park once a week. By encompassing the teaching of Yoga, she has learned to appreciate and value life in each present moment.
